A traditional jelly-like delight called “loukoumi” made from starch and sugar is a confectionary very popular amongst people of all ages not only in Greece but in the whole Mediterranean region.
This old recipe developed from the pastry makers of Chios island combines loukoumi with tangerine from the local orchards.
